I suffer from anxiety tenfold ! Ive tried everthing from the Charles Linden Method to prescribed drugs…………Everything works in the short term….but then it rears its ugly head again. The only way I cope on a day to day basis is by taking medication, which does not cover my full anxiety, but eases it. Im lost and feel out of control of my body !

I remember coming home, one night, from a stressful day at my sister’s house and developped a paralyzing sense of fear and borderline psychotic nature because of the fear. If I would’ve known I’d be diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder days later, I would’ve gladly kissed my sister good bye weeks prior to the attack.

If there’s anything I’d like to share with fellow anxiety sufferers, ti would be how not alone you are.

I still have minor fits of anxiety, but I’ve, for the most part, worked myself out without medication through breathing and rationalizing with my fear. One key aspect to my recovery was realizing I have complete and total control over what I do and little to no control whatsoever of the actions of others. Anxiety requires some pretty tough mental rewiring, but remember that with anxiety: the only thing to fear is fear itself, quite literally too as this video explains.

wow! thanks for sharing! i think it’s really promising. as i was listening, i was doing the exercise or technique and i noticed a good change already. i like the principle of acknowledging that the anxiety is there, still, you can handle it. amazing technique!

@CrazyGirlKorean yes that is completely normal, when you feel have anxious thoughts just let them be there, no matter what your mind thinks about it you have to let all those thoughts be there and the more you tolerate them the less they come. I have social anxiety myself and this really helps ALOT.

  25. 2packalypse2 Said,

Does this also work for social anxiety??
