Stress And Anxiety Reliefs

I often panic when I’m stuck in a situation where I’m forced to hear music like country and western, or death metal, or pop, etc..I actually feel nauseous and scared when it happens, and it upsets people around me if I say anything about it; they say I’m a snob, but I don’t feel snobbish, just freaked out. I feel like there must be some name for this, since I’ve noticed that children sometimes have similar responses to music that they later grow out of.

My mom has a habit of putting our radio on somewhat loudly,are Parakeets are a few feet from a speaker.

Is that good for them?
My computers a few inchs away from a speaker,not even a few inches.
