I’m assuming you mean in your day-to-day life, rather than engaging in formal music therapy with a licensed therapist.

It may help, for a week or so, to pay close attention to how certain sounds and types of music affect you. Just because a certain type of music is "energizing" or "soothing" to one person doesn’t mean it will have the same effect on another. Pay close attention to the qualities of sound around you, as well as to their volume, and how those qualities make you feel. Do you feel more energized by soft music, or by music with a driving beat, or just loud music? Do you listen primarily to the instrumental line of music, or to the lyrics, or are both equally important in your experience of a song? Are there certain qualities of sound that absolutely drive you crazy? Take brief notes if you need to. As you pay closer attention to what TYPES of music you find to be relaxing, you’ll be more able to craft a music collection that will serve your needs for relaxation and mood improvement. The results may be surprising. For instance, I like classical music in general, but I’ve found that the complex harmonies in Mozart tend to make me slightly uneasy and nervous, whereas the repeated motifs, fugues, and tonic resolutions in baroque music tend to help me focus on a difficult task.

You can check it out with a psychologist.

They have series of recorded CDs, targeting at different types of treatments.

Well, you just need some calm music to relax you, and happy music to boost your mood. I recommend Silent Wings by Secret Garden to relax you, and just your favourate music to make you happy. It doesn’t matter if it’s rock or metal, as long as you like it, that will make you feel better. Hope this helped!

Get you some Worship Music and play it throughout the day. We are suffering from unbelief in God. It is the Lord who changes the hearts and minds and gives us stress-free lives.

    Have a blessed day!!!

You know music always helps me relax, I usually listen to radiohead’s ok computer or something that gets me pumped up like The Used or My chemical Romance, they’re nice and upbeat and the lyrics are depressing enough I don’t have to be. Hope this helps.
