Then go be with someone or some other people. If you want to feel better, then YOU are going to have to do something, take some action. Unless you like being depressed that is. Get off your butt and DO something. YOU YOU YOU and ONLY YOU can and must take the first step.

depression ruins one’s mind very easily if you let it control you. only way to get out of it is to think ” it’s just depression, ignore it. everything’s okay ” and it’s gone. simple

Well about the job, anyone can do anything they want if they really put their mind to it. So it’s defenitley a possibility and would be very helpful to many.

As for religion I agree with you, but there is no reason you have to insult someone just to make a point.

well some psychologists are comvinced that mantra therapie is the unique way to cure depression but the problem is that if people find out the effects of mantra therapie the psychologist would get without job.

when someone is deep depressed the person have no energy to try or to believe in new therapies or treatments.the power of mantra therapie is that you need to go nowhere or have to buy nothing for your cure .just learning to recite the mantra correctly and recite it with concentration will eliminate your depression ,you can practice it in your room, just seat down comfortable and with your back stright.if while reciting it you breath deep it will do wonders ty.

anyone who thinks they are unable to quit their job and start anew needs to realize just what this thing called life can really be. who says you gotta do the 9-5. i lived in a tent for 3 years by choice, traveling the country. best time of my life. and now im back in a house, feeling kinda like shit. but i just think back on those times and smile, i know i could return to that anytime i really want to. haha!

“That’s life and you have to live it and you have to experience it.” Hmmmmmm. I know that people say this, but I don’t see where it’s written as logic or law….in fact……I can point out the opposite.
Of course it’s personal and case specific not a general rule for everyone. So I suppose she’s right for her, but I’m not sure she accurate to other peoples’ cases.

I have a problem with her recommendation of 5-HTP. That herbal supplement is a very powerful drug. It literally can make symptoms worse, and if you are going to take it, make sure it is prescribed, as it can exascerbate your problem immensely.

Seriously, it is not to be messed with.

I also believe that her advice is rather dangerous. It is rather half informed.

I totally agree that the cure to depression is to alter your lifestyle. She made alot of great points in this video. I started lifting at the gym and doing that on a regular schedule helps me. I think a purpose/regular schedule in life is important. Be productive and feel good about what you do. I also supplement with MoodBoost Drink and that in combination with the other changes seems to really have helped.

my favorite part was the bit about living in the moment. I found that even when something funny was said around me it used to be so difficult to connect with my surroundings. I lived in the past evey waking moment. That’s the most difficult part about depression. Moving on.

I agree. Before you start taking anything that alters the brain chemistry, you should consult a mental health professional (preferably a psychiatrist). That way, in case it backfires, they know why it backfired and can help you fix the problem.
